    <description>&lt;P&gt;My opinion is, if you use them for zonal heating, like you would with the duraflame fireplace type heaters, they are good.  They will not save you any money if you don't turn the heat down in the rest of the home and use them JUST to heat the room you are in.  That is what I know about them from people I have talked to in the upper midwest where it is COLD COLD COLD in the winter. &lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We have an Eden Pure in our basement family room.  It heats quickly and the large room (apx. 19x24') is warm in no time.  Yes, I think they are efficient.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
