Looking for a message-need help

There were some photos of bedrooms on one of the forums. There was a throw-loved it!

It looked knitted w/ large needles. I would like to try making it. Does anyone know where this is and has it disappeared?

Those things are popping up all over the place. To me, they appears as though they'd be extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. Just a novelty and fad that will soon pass.

Believe it or not, rugs are starting to appear everywhere with huge bumpy loops like that.

An interior-designer neighbor just got one for her dining room. I can hardly walk on it. Have no idea how a vacuum cleaner would work on it.

Would be hard to pick up a thick room-size dining room rug and take it out to shake. I wouldn't want to try.

I love the look of these, and am guessing they were designed for the texture and pop of size in the stitching rather than to be functional. More a decorative piece than a useful piece?

@novamc They were described as "throws" (i.e. decorative pieces). Not for use under dining room tables.

Yes, I get the difference in the two products, as my post in reply to @Kachina624 indicated. I was stating that the "look" of large bumpy loops was showing up in other household products, as well.
