All neutral color homes seem to be trendy right now , esp. a lot of white as this room shows.It's just not my taste and I certainly wouldn't want to have to keep all that white clean.

Beautiful. I just painted most of the inside of my home in white and light grey. We even painted the fireplace white and love it. So yes colors appeal to me but I need a couple of cats in the picture to make it homey🐱🐱

I love it.

The piece over the fireplace seems to compete with the chandelier.

Or maybe it's just the picture.

Either way, I'd have to change 1 or the other. But otherwise, I love it.

I notice that the metal used in this room - the chandlier, the balls on the hearth and the candlesticks are all antiqued brass which seems to be enjoying a comeback.

I have some antiqued brass in my home and I love it - warms a room up, and makes it richer looking IMO.

Love almost everything but would change the chandelier and that thing hanging above the fireplace. I would go for something less ornate.

Yes, I like it. I would get rid of both chandelier and the gold thing on the wall above the mantle and put this up there instead, or something similar. The room has an old-Hollywood feel to it I think.

I agree. Since there are candles and flowers on the matle I would not have anything on the wall. I would go with silver chandelier

Maybe I'm old school but I prefer beiges/creams/almonds to bright white. My house is full of it. I like that they play nice with reds my favorite color.

I just can't do a Pink tinged beige. Reminds me of baby barf. Otherwise it's OK. I was a grey girl before grey was " A Thing".

Very nice and elegant. Love the sofa and the fireplace, chairs are lovely too. I would add some colorful pillows though.

I love it! I find the palette very soothing.

My living room & dining rooms are similar. I have tone on tone beige walls with tone on tone stripped long ivory grommet top curtains. I have a light hardwood floor with a cream rug under the coffee table in the living room and a Moroccan light gray trellis design over an off white rug.

My family room is in deeper shades. I have a beige sofa but added red throw & red/navy plaid pillows for a nice Christmas accent.
