I am not a fan of coffee tables. However, the hippo coffee table is rather nice. Very unusual.

This made me laugh out loud! This would be so much fun in the right environment....obviously not in a formal living room. But I think it is refreshing to have a sense of humor in decorating. Maybe a man cave?

Beautiful woodworking. I bet its very expensive. I question how it would fit in with my Southwestern decor, however. We haven seen a hippo in the Rio Grande in ages.

@grandma2pkmh...You can see the face right at the end with the illusion of floating above water...However, it is much smaller than the backside though!...LOL

I can appreciate beautifully crafted wood, but that coffee table does not appeal to me at all.

We saw a coffee table similar to this at an arts and craft show. I thought at the time it would be a nice addition to a log home living or family room. It was rather pricey but was a one-of-a kind piece of art.
