IMO, the furniture looks awkward and not very comfortable, this room is just not doing it for me.

I do like the ceiling though!

Other than maybe the scones, I don't like anything about this room, starting with the mint green walls, again. lol

Ewww, I don't like this at all. The colors are working against each other,

The walls, rug and pink chairs and everything optic white are cool colors.

That sofa is a very warm color as well as the lady painting and is old fashioned, compared to everything else. IT's not a good look together at all.

I would call this room, dumpster diving for living room furniture.

I detest the rug...

This space looks like something thrown together by one of the HGTV designer wannabes, whose 'style' is to throw in everything but the kitchen sink in the all too obvious effort to be 'now and wow'. There are a few appealing elements, but the room is chaos...

I like the sofa - different style...

and, the small round table by the chair.

That picture totally does not go in a modern room like this.

And, that patchwork rug is pretty awful - like retro... or something.

And, with all the colors in the rug and drapes - I would of definitely NOT gone with that green on the wall.

When I was little growing up my grandma had pink and light green in every room. Living room& DR - light green walls with rose carpet and furniture. Master bedroom pink with green bedspread and pink upholstered chair. Bathroom was pink ceramic tile with maroon trim, and grandma had light green rugs and towels in there. The only room that varied was the kitchen - it was yellow & dark green.

I loved my Grand mother but she did not have a designer bone in her body.
