Last weekend I gave away all my Chinoiserie. I had it for years but now thought I'd pass on it since we are retired and I don't want to care after it. It went to a nice place and I know that the person who now has it will appreciate it.

I do like the room and the decor. I like the crisp, clean, and formal look. I don't want a room that looks like you can lounge, sleep, and put your feet up on the furniture or tables. I have a den for things like that but not the more formal rooms.

I like the blue rug and the dog. Not into white/light colored furniture. The funiture also looks so uncomfortable.

If the dog's not included...I don't know. Is that a fireplace behind the couch? If so, why would you put a couch in front of a fireplace?

Once again, this setting doesn't make my eyes twitch, but that is not to say I particularly like it. The furniture is placed so closely as to impede one's gait. It looks like you would need to sidle between the sofas and tables. I also think the shelves and tables are overloaded with tchotchkes.

I like this room way more than the Ken & Barbie living room. I appreciate that it's not cluttered and I'm attracted to the simple design aesthetic. I really like that the room is much larger so there is space to walk around but I don't like how close the couches and table are. I'm not a fan of two exact couches in front of one another. I can't see where the TV is etc. so I can't assess how comfortable one would be. I love the high chairs.

I would place a larger rug in the same color and separate the couches. Replace one couch with another with an interesting shape and color. I would keep the chairs at the end the same. Navy works with a lot of colors. I think the room needs some green etc. to add some contrast. The table could be more interesting as well. Overall, I like this room but this doesn't seem to take that much imagination since it only incorporates a couple colors and the couches are the same.

I have to say, I love it!!!!Very stylish....The only thing I do not care for is the coffee table, but otherwise-gorgeous!

It bothers me that the couches are only half-way on that rug. If only I could move them.

If I went to someone's home and it was decorated this way, I would think it was attractive. However, for my own home I don't like the staged look of it and it is not my style...a bit cold looking, office-inspired.
