They are! I am the queen of streaking glass, but with these and water I have crystal clear windows and mirrors. They work great in the shower on the doors to keep them clean and shiney. Really pick up dust. Last a really long time.

Streaking , is the major problem,i was told to wash them on here,i did,let air dry still have that problem, i just rinsed with hot water before ,still can not figure this out .

I have a Supercloth and have tried again and again to use and like it, but I can't. I just don't think it cleans as well as microfiber, I hate the way it feels in my hand, I don't like the black color, and I can't tell if I'm really getting it clean when I wash it.

For glass, I now use the e-cloth system and love it. No cleaning agents, just water, and no streaking. That's when used on regular mirrors and windows, not to remove soap scum on shower doors (never tried that but doubt it could). I found a recipe for a DIY de-scummer that I've been meaning to mix up and try, and if it's effective, I will post it in this forum.

They are decent for the electronic screens but I prefer microfiber for everything else.

I love them . If there is any streaking then your window needs a heavier cleaning first such as spring windows after using the fireplace all winter. I always follow with the super cloth for no streaking.

Here is just some observations from my years of using supercloth.

They work best on windows when newer. You have to rinse them out thoroughly and often, and wring till almost dry.

You have to use the cloth for Windows only. You can't use it in furniture or other surfaces where it can pick up oils and residue as it will then streak the glass.

In my opinion supercloth isn't the best thing for Windows and glass, but biocleaner cloths are. I find them superior, and don't have streaking. So much less fuss with the biocleaner cloths for Windows.

I have another theory about window streaks. In the past I have had Windows that were painted and experienced light streaking. Then i had aluminum frames with paint that oxidized and streaked no matter what I used. I now have vinyl and have virtually no streaking. So what the glass is framed with and it's condition could produce different results as the cloth picks up residue from what is bordering the window, then spreads it to the glass.
