Toto Toilets

I'm planning on replacing both original builder grade toilets in my home with new ones that are the ADA height. The toilets don't flush well & are hard to keep clean.

I had a tile contractor a couple of years ago who was doing the tile backsplash in my kitchen after I got new quartz countertops recommend Toto toilets after he'd installed them in his own home. He said they were worth the extra expense & he & his wife were both very pleased with them.

Anyone have experience with this brand?

Yes, I have had one in my home for about ten years and I would recommend Toto. Mine is also taller than a standard height toilet.

Yes, two....one in the master bath and another in the guest bathroom. They are definitely worth the investment.

We have Kohler chair height toilets. Toto brand? I had to look them up. How are they different and actually worth the exorbitant price they charge? Ridiculous!

The BEST. I have had them for what will be 11 years in September and love them. I don't think I will ever be satisfied with anything else.

We changed out our Kohler for Toto. There is such a vast difference that our #2 son who had just remodeled his bathrooms, after coming to our house, changed out 4/5 for Toto. He left the powder/half bath with Kohler since the little use but changed out all the baths including the guest bath. Very little water, quick flush and mine have never stopped up.

I remodeled the hall bath in my home ten years ago. Insisted on a Toto toilet.

They flush and completely clean out every time. Can't say that about the other toilets in my house. And don't even get me started on those cheap, builders grade toilets.

If budget allowed, I would replace the other toilets with Toto.

Worth the $. You, your family and your guests use this item every day, multiple times a day.

Excellent. My plumbing contractor's preferred brand. One of the best investments I have made in my home. (Love the higher seat).

I think mine are good-looking, too!

We have the tall/elongated Toto in both bathrooms.

More powerful flush which is important to me. As others have said, well worth the cost.

My Kohler toilets are ADA height, have a powerful flush, and aren't hard to clean. So I'm just missing the point of the more expensive toilet. Our 2yr. old and 5 yr. old Kohler toilets have all of the features that are being described for Toto toilets. Maybe some areas have more issues with sewage lines that cause slow flushes and other toilet problems? I just can't figure out how my current toilets could be improved, other than adding a self-cleaning feature, lol.

Do they come in a regular height? I can barely touch the ground as it is and I need some leverage lol!

@GenXmuse. I feel your pain. We replaced builders grade with higher good toliet, really hard to get use to.

We have TOTO toilets and they are the best. Never had a problem with either and they flush really well

I think one of the advantages of the Toto brand (& possibly partly why they're more expensive) is that all surfaces, both interior & exterior are glazed.

I'm sure they do. When I looked at their website, they have regular height toilets to choose from & various models & colors. There's a Toto Premier Showroom in my town (a large plumbing supply house) & I guess they carry the biggest selection of products to check out, so I plan on going down there in the near future.

I changed out mine for Kohler Memories with higher seat & elongated style with soft closing lids. No problems yet! They flush nice & quiet, glazed totally inside & out.

love them!

I use Cersanit tiolets and bath in my home, This's goof brand, reccomend it
