Do you have to buy a whole new set up for an adjustable bed, like a Sleep Number bed. I though you'd have to get a new headboard and rest of the stuff that is just for those type of beds?

My question is: Do they require using twin sheets or special sheets on the bottom? How else can one side move up and the other side stays flat?

My sister has a sleep number bed and uses her own bedroom set headboard.

I think of adjustable beds as the ones that you can raise the head up.

But I guess you're right, the sleep numbers are adjustable, too, just in their firmness.

I have no idea if you have to buy a special headboard for one of the beds that your can raise or lower your head.

I forgot to ask and just had an online chat with someone about those beds this morning.

I have an adjustable bed that I bought last August. It's a king not a split king. You can get it either way. I didn't want to have buy new sheets so I got a regular king memory foam. The bed sits on the adjustable base which fits inside the frame of a sleigh bed. I don't have a boxspring.

For the most part you should beable to use your current frame and headboard. If the slats are removeable the sleep number just sits within the frame. It's always best to ask at the sleep number store. You may need to purchase these leg things so it sits above the very tiny ledge the slats hook to.

I believe if you get the split king you would have to buy two sets of extra long twin. My brother in laws parents have a sleep number. He says they buy their sheets at the store and they are $150.

We have a Sleep Number split king. We bought actual split king sheets on QVC. They were one of the size options on a TSV a couple of years ago. I know the Sleep Number store also sells sheets at their store but I love the ones we got on the TSV.

We have a split king sleep number bed. It fit perfectly inside our king frame with headboard and foot board. The sheet set consists of 2 twin XL fitted sheets and one regular king flat sheet + pillowcases. I bought our first set at the sleep number store for lots of $ but subsequently found a very nice set on Amazon for $45. If your set is only split at the top you might have to get them special at the store.
