How do you like this light fixture

for my bedroom? Currently I just don't have enough light in my bedroom and wanted to have a ceiling light.

@CLEM Nice Celing light. I had the same issue with lighting in my bedroom and installed recessed lights. Now it's lit up like a airport landing strip. LOL!

Way too modern for my home and decor, but I love the linen look of the shade. It is very neutral and high end look with that shade.

@CLEM I really like it. I purchased a table lamp for a guest bedroom from Lamps Plus ~ nice selection. My problem in our bedroom is that I have to have a ceiling fan ~ I just get too hot and stuffy. >:

@pattypeepI always am too hot also that is why I had the fan installed but really all I needed was a better air conditioner. I do have that now and don't ever use the fan. But I always collect all my worn socks in a pillow case and then wash them all at once. Then when I sort them (which I do on my bed), I get all the colors mixed up and when I go outside I notice it.

Lol. My dad wants to put all this cam lighting in my parents bedroom at the new house they are building. She says why do you need more lighting with a ceiling fan and bedside lamps.

Our bedroom has lamps (can be turned on upon entering) and I have verrry low wattage bulbs.

Don't want to scare my husband---so it's all smoke and mirrors.

I love it but am not sure it's right for a bedroom. Lamps Plus has a good selection. I'm having a handyman come out this morning at 8 a.m. He'll probaby be here all day. Ugh. I'm having him replace two light fixtures for me in my office and sitting room. I like that light fixture much better than what I bought. I bought mine at Lowe's.

Very nice modern light. But in a bedroom? I couldn't live without a fan in my bedroom! I have fans in all rooms.

That's a good point. I like the linen look shade on the OP's light, but I'd still keep a ceiling fan in my bedroom.

@ID2 @AuntG I know what you are saying. When I lived in my house I also had fans in all rooms plus I had cross ventilation. However, I now live in a highrise and only have the southern exposure. Sun shines in my apt. all day so I am using my airconditioner all the time. In the bedroom it's set on 68 summer and winter. That keeps me cool. I haven't used heat all this winter except may be 5-6 times when I sat down to breakfast.

My bedroom fan hasn't been used in years; just hangs there and collects dust.

It's not my style but if you like it then that's all that matters. I would suggest that you install a dimmer switch. I have one for the ceiling light and the lamp. I also have some flameless candles around the room. I love the soft light.
