It is so refreshing to have Mary Beth hosting the show. No silly look at me antics David has developed over the years. I still watch on Wednesdays and Sundays as I do like David and love kitchen things, it was just about the products tonight and not the host, which was nice.

I like them both. That 'silly look antic' as you call it, does not bother me in the least. That's his M.O and David is not going to stop until QVC tells him to.

I enjoyed Mary Beth's low key presentation tonight, too.

However, as long as there are people amused by David's tired M.O., it will continue. I just wish he could come up with some new schtick.

she drove me crazy repeating how if you went to the Lenox.com it would cost you $350.00 for the TSV.....over and over and over...and then there was the number sold and number left....she must have said it 25 times or more with both presentations....I finally changed the channel.....

Don't watch David for the same reason...its like they are OCD...we really don't need that update every other minute...really we don't....

As much as OP loved seeing MBR do David's show, I didn't and used the hours to catch up on some really old "on demand" offerings.

I would have watched, too. Sorry I didn't do the "check out who's hosting" thing last night. I have just about given up on getting an interesting, informative kitchen show from QVC.

It sure does seem that David is gone a lot, IMO, it's almost as if he works part-time for the Q these days! Mary Beth is a favorite of mine, such a pleasant voice!

Oh c'mon, everyone. Posters were so thrilled when David took over for Bob B., as they constantly complained that Bob was boring. Now they have a host who is anything but boring and people are still complaining, saying that David is too silly, etc.

I think the problem is with the people watching and not the hosts. The hosts each have their own style, but they're professional and do their jobs extremely well. I'm convinced that no matter who hosts the shows, there will be complaints!

I watched part of it and Mary Beth certainly is not David.

I totally agree; this was not a change for the better; plus her stammering and stuttering got on my nerves. I changed the channel even though some of what was offered looked interesting.
