I had laid down on that evening because I was exhausted. I woke up at 9:15 p.m. California time when the TSV kicks off. I wanted the yellow. Rick was kicking it off and at that moment said the yellow is sold out. I was so bummed. So I ordered the Cobalt Blue. It is a really dark blue. Then for years they didn't show the Cobalt Blue but instead showed Blue Willow. Now they are back to the Cobalt Blue. Enjoy your new pink mixer. Sounds like it will be just what you want for your kitchen decor. When DS was in college in West Chester, PA I had occasion to visit the nearby Q outlet. On one such visit I scored a KA stand mixer. The box was marked red, but the mixer was actually my preferred color choice of gloss cinnamon. DH was at home, and called me and asked me to pick a color and he would go ahead and order it for me. They must have had about 15 colors. He tried to describe them to me but I couldn't decide. When I finally got home and got to see them, I still couldn't decide. I finally got Buttercup Yellow. I was able to get a food processor the same color. The older white ones have the best stories!</P> <P>About the cobalt blue- I went to the KitchenAid plant tour and store in Greenville, Ohio. In the store was a little KA museum.
