Sounds great...thanks for posting.

Here is my easy appetizer: 2 cups sour cream add pepperoni which you have chopped in the food processor. I use pepperoni slices so that I don't have to worry about the waxy coating which you would need to remove before chopping.

My favorite is to call the seafood market, ask them to deliver 2-3 pounds Cajun-cooked, deveined shrimp with the tails removed and to hurry because I am hungry. But then if it is a very busy day, I just go down and pick them up myself and prepare as follows.

Combine 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp thyme, 1 tsp oregano, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, and 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper in a sealable plastic bag; shake to mix. Add shrimp and shake to coat.

Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Cook and stir shrimp in hot oil until they are bright pink on the outside and the meat is no longer transparent in the center, about 4 minutes.

Depending on how much shrimp you have, you may need to repeat this depending on size of your skillet. Have lots of beer on hand if there are men present!
