topic Persimmon pudding? in Kitchen

The wikipedia page for Christmas dishes all over the world has persimmon pudding under the USA heading. I've never heard of it, never seen it mentioned here. Does anyone make it?

I grew up in the UK, and one of the items listed there was "Tunis cake", which I've also never heard of, so I'm not convinced this was the most accurate wiki page of all time.
