topic Att Vitamix 7500 Owners, Help Needed in Kitchen

I just got off the phone with Vitamix support and she said what is happening should not be and to return for an exchange.

Before I do this however, I would appreciate some help from you folk. Can you fill the container with between 2 and 3 cups of water and add a couple drops of dish soap and then run on speed ten for about 45 seconds and then see whether the soap and water solution will come out the top lid from several places and then drip down the side of the container, or is it all trapped in the container.

Yesterday I was making some orange carrot soup and it leaked out of the top so I transferred all the contents to my 5000 and continues processing on high speed for a few more minutes and there was Zero leakage, although it was swirling around the rim.

Before I call Q Customer service for a replacement, I would appreciate a few of you testing and reporting back here.
