Cheryl's Cookies--What A Disappointment

After watching so many presentations on Cheryl's Cookies I finally broke down and ordered some. I ordered them from Cheryl's and ordered a box where you could choose your own cookies. I ordered ten cookies with two brownies. For the brownies, I ordered a vanilla fudge and chocolate fudge. They sent me a peanut butter brownie instead of the vanilla fudge. I don't like peanut butter brownies and was very disappointed.

I think the cut-outs are way too sweet. I had read comments about that but didn't think I would think so. I ordered one sugar cookie, and it was pretty good. Never again.

I've ordered from Cheryl's several times, both for myself and as gifts. I ordered from both QVC and the Cheryl's website. I never received any incorrect items in my orders. I think the frosted cookies are pretty sweet. I always feel like I have to brush my teeth after eating one, but the other cookies are all very good. The brownies are even better. I wish they had more options for just ordering brownies.

I love the sugar cookies and chocolate sugar cookies. They are soft and chewy and delicious.

So I wouldn't give up on Cheryl's because of one wrong item. It happens.

My neighbor gave us a Christmas ball ornament with these bite size cookies -- didn't think they were as good as QVC said yet I'm a baker so maybe I'm just spoiled by fresh ingredients. My friend seemed to enjoy them

I can't speak to the "too sweet" topic, because nothing is ever too sweet for me. I love sweet.

But, as for the cookies in general, they are good. But that is it. Way too expensive for just good. I am a big baker, and I'd much rather just make my own.

If offered Cheryl's cookies, we eat them and enjoy them, but I'd never pay for them.

We had ordered some of these w/ornaments to give to neighbor for a little Christmas something. Before the delivery date, we changed our mind and canceled them. Glad we did.

My neighbor gave us Cheryl's cookies in a large ball Christmas ornament. They were overly dry and had no flavor.

I'm glad I got them as a gift and was able to taste them. Will not order or recommend.

My daughter purchased these for small gifts for her neighbors. Not sure what configuration but she gave me a buttercream frosted, a chocolate chip and a plain sugar cookie. I actually thought they were pretty good and I'm not easy to please. The plain sugar cookie was my favorite.

I agree. I ordered the July TSV in the ornaments, and cancelled last minute. I don't know what made me order because I had ordered once before and was so unhappy. They were so tasteless. Between Mrs Prindables and Cheryl's cookies, I have given them as little gifts and never heard that people liked them, so no more.

I baked my own baked items this year, and gave them out to my family as a "personal" little touch. I heard from everyone that they were really good.

Their CS is not good, and for that reason alone I would never order from them. I have no patience for companies that are happy to take your money and then can't be bothered.

As for the cookies, I think they're fine. That's it, nothing more. And not worth the price.

My sister had them at her house one holiday and they were absolutely horrible. I would prefer to make my own or if desperate I would rather buy a cookie or brownie mix as they are so much better than Cheryl's.

Personally, I would have contacted Cheryl with your disappointment of sending the wrong brownie. The cookies are expensive and no one has money to throw away. I'm glad I read this thread as I won't ordering. Mrs. Field's cookies probably taste better.

I used to buy Cheryl's cookies in the malls ... You could not beat them ... May have been because they were baked right before your eyes, but I have ordered them directly from Cheryl's and from QVC and they are just not the same ...

In November I ordered a One Time Only special that was 54 full-size Cheryl's cookies and they were wonderful! I loved every single one of them - not a mediocre one in the bunch. So moist and flavorful, they truly tasted like homemade. It's possible the mini cookies are not as moist/good, at least that's what it seems from some of the reviews. But I thought the full-size cookies were fantastic & I would order another assortment like that any day of the week.

Glad you got a good product at the best possible QVC price. I thought those in the mini ornaments were rather cute, but didn't have the need to hand out small gifts as we no longer do secret santa at work.

I still might. I just felt like they wouldn't do anything since it was just one item. I just received them a week ago.

I ordered one of the larger gift assortments to place a few in the Lock and Lock tsv that had a round bowl in a festive bag. The ones I sampled were good. I put the frosted ones in with the gifts.
