Oh well, I just spent 45 minutes writing quite a long comparison between the Ninja cooker and the WP Versacooker and this QVC site timed out and I lost it. Unfortunately I was using a tablet and did not create it in another application but perhaps this time I will learn.. perhaps not..

Long story real short.. I prefered the Ninja controls and ability to cook pasta without boiling over yet the steam roasts I have made all were considerably moister and more tender in the WP Versacooker and I believe the same reason why it boils over when making pasta is why the roasts excel in it... not as large steam escape hole in the lid.

Searing is faster in the WP and it heats faster, but most likely that is due to it having more power.. 1350 watts vs 1200 of the Ninja.. Baking high raising dough products come out well in both machines, yet I prefer the deeper container of the WP for my challah type recipes since there is more room to rise.

Virtually everything that the Ninja Cooker can do, the WP Versacooker can do, yet the controls are more intuitive on the Ninja. Both are fine machines, but I prefer the see through lid of the WP unit as well as the smaller steam escape hole. Purchasing the Ninja off the Infomercial, you get a strong 5 yr warranty, yet 3rd party extended warranties are also available.
