The recalled brewers have an identification number starting with "31" printed on the bottom.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Can you imagine all the people who bought these as gifts who now have to either deal with the repair or try to get back to the store for a replacement?&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;I guess it's better to find out BEFORE you give the gift than after.  &lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just spoke with a Keurig customer service representative at the telephone number they have published in connection with this product recall (1-844-255-7886).  She told me that my serial number of the Keurig I bought here on QVC (from the Dec 10th TSV) was NOT affected by the recall, and is NOT part of the defective batch, so I didn't need to do anything -- that my Keurig unit is fine.  I'm not sure whether to believe that or not.  Has anyone else who bought the TSV called Keurig and been told similar info  (or contrary info)?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
