I have a 3-1/2 lb beef roast that I want to make for dinner tonight. How long would it take to cook in a slow cooker? Should I add the celery, carrots and potatoes all at once with the meat or wait until the meat is partially cooked? Should I add some liquid? It's been so long since I've used my slow cooker, I've forgotten what to do! I need help!
