I've only ever seen the challenger rip up the check. Never has he or she walked off before the show was over. That bothers me a bit. It makes the show seem contrived; after all, they have to fill an hour (or is it half-hour) with programming. The challenger does sometimes lose in the end though.

Seems like all the shows I have watched, the chef just keeps ripping up the check they won to go to the next level. Does the other Pro chef ever win??

I think one challenger defeated the contestant last week but it was a rare exception! As there seem to be mega-repeats of chefs on every level I get the sense they filmed the series in ONE DAY or maybe a few days...LOL....there's not much competition and I'm not sure what the name of the show has to do with the game???

I've been watching since the beginning. I'm not sure how long I'm going to keep watching, though. So much drama, eh?

I've seen it go both ways but I don't think I've ever seen them lose in the first level. It is kind of fun seeing that Penny woman get beat, though. She's one nasty woman! Couldn't stand her in NFNS that season. She's very caustic.
