I always do a whole, fresh turkey.

I don't put the dressing inside. That always kind of grossed me out - just thinking of all that turkey blood running through it and how it looks spilling out of there. I'm just too food-neurotic for that. I put it into a casserole dish (my old Corning Ware French White 2.5qt one, of course. hehe).

For Thanksgiving, will you be cooking a whole turkey or a turkey breast? Do you bake the stuffing inside either of them or do you bake it separately?

whole turkey with the dressing baked in another roaster, but a lot of the turkey juices and stock from simmering the "insides" (neck, giblets, etc....) are added to the dressing while it is roasting.

Here is what we are doing. I am a vegetarian. I have purchased frozen turkey and gravy.I also hate to cook!! I will make mashed potatoes, green bean casserole for DH (Green Giant makes a delicious frozen one). I will eat plain green beans. Maybe I will bake bread.Think there is some frozen cake in the downstairs freezer. There will be just the 2 of us-which we like. Wouldn't turn any one away, but we are loners. And that is our TG menu.

I was thinking of maybe doing just the turkey breast this year, but I probably won't. What else is on your menu?
