I don't think so. It was Food Network Canada's top-rated program in its first season and was renewed in May for a second season. Do you have information that it was cancelled?

Haven't seen it in a while and we were curious.

DH thinks the Tori show on Lifetime (?) is funny. He calls it his comic relief.

Dean is just NOT a great host on that show...perhaps they just aren't showing it here in the U S.. my sister lives in Canada and she said they get totally different shows up there than we get here.....

He's really not a good host. I watched a couple of episodes last year and I was out.

I wonder if the US Food Network channel, or maybe the Cooking Channel, will even pick this up here for another season. Either way I don't plan to watch, but I have been wondering lately. It might have been a lot more popular up in Canada than down here.

I just checked the Tivo guide for yesterday's programming on the Cooking Channel and the only 'Canada' program was 'MasterChef Canada', so perhaps there is some confusion.

I watch Chopped all the time,so when I saw this Canada show,I watched.It's missing something,and is very boring.Even the contestants looked bored!

I thought the Food Network said it "chopped" Chopped Canada from its lineup months ago. I watch the regular Chopped all the time - I really enjoy Ted and all the judges. Dean was boring, showed no personality, and neither did any of the judges. I stopped watching Chopped Canada after the first few shows. It couldn't compare to the regular one.

I agree with you. It was a real snooze fest.
