I'm trying, but space is limited. I've got all the small ones in a lock and lock with the names facing out. I have to keep them in the lazy susan cupboard at eye level. It's just really hard to see them then I've found 2 of 2 items that I didn't see and re purchased. That makes me crazy at the prices spices are. Does anyone have a unique idea to do this, I have 0 ideas on how to make this easier.

Thanks for any help!

Several years ago I had it with my mish mash of spices and not being able to find anything. I bought spice bottles with labels. I now am able to open my cupboard and search for any spice easily. All my bottles are the same size and are in alphabetical order.

My problem is that my spice bottles are all different sizes, to include spices with grinders, small ones from McCormick, and others from Spice Island, and some from Penzy's. And others that are in square jars, while the others are round jars. So for me, all I can do, is to keep them in my cabinet, with labels out...

Needless to say, I love my spices and I love to cook & bake, hence all the different shapes and sizes and types of bottles.

spices should always be kept in a cool, dark place which sort of precludes "displaying" them..

Spices, when you have a lot like I do, can be very challenging to store, to say the least.. A lot of my Penzeys I keep sealed in their ziplocks in the fridge..

The very top shelf is for the items I use frequently, the bottom is for the tall bottles and containers that seem to seep, the next to the bottom shelf has a plastic shoe box that holds the bags of peppers, seeds, vanilla beans, spices, etc.

Works great holds a lot, and different sizes and shapes. Be sure to measure your space though, before you order, if you decide to use this one. HTH

I keep mine in my pantry on one of those racks that were on TV a few years ago that pull out and turn so you can see the bottles of spices. My DH screwed them down to the shelf so they don't move when I pull them out and they work great now. We also put another set in another cupboard for our medicine bottles.

Each holds 30 jars. I was lucky in that both of my cabinets actually came with the glass bottles; it seems that most of the cabinets now on eBay no longer have bottles with them. The cabinets hang on a wall in my kitchen, giving me beautiful artwork as well as spice storage space. Spices should also be kept in a dark area, never just out on the kitchen counters, so the cabinets help that way, too. My kitchen is not contemporary; it's got more of a homey feel, even though we recently remodeled. I did not want black and sleek. These cabinets fit right in with everything else and I love them.

I have more spices than the 60 jars, so my remainder can be found in a lazy Susan in the kitchen.

I have two of those Swivel n Store (or some similar name) right next to each other in the cabinet. You can't swivel it that way, but it's not really necessary to. Just pull each section straight out and you can still see and access the bottles. I have 40 bottles in 8 inches of space. I am glad to see so many mention alphabetical order. My family thinks I'm nuts haha

There's an infomercial running now for a spice shelf that is adjustable in the width and will fit in your cupboard. You can either put it on shelf pegs (if your cupboard has them) or use the legs that come with them. You get two of them and can stack them and the height is variable. It looks interesting and might be what you're looking for. I can't remember the exact name though.

I use a RR casserole dish next to my cooktop to hold my most-used herbs and spices (and a bottle of avocado oil) which relieves the situation a bit. - Bird
