topic Looking for food processor/blender duo in Kitchen

I have a cuisinart smartpower duo which is both a food processor and blender. The glass blender still works fine but probably needs a new blade. I cracked the bowl of the food processor attachment and with shipping to replace these items is going to wind up being $25-30.... There are so many new options out there I'm hopin for suggestions. I would love something tha has a smaller bowl attachment for smaller quantities of pesto, hummus, etc. I use my blender at least once a week for salsa and sauces so it needs to be a workhorse but I also really want a smaller bowl. I waste a lot of food using the giant blender to make pesto and even when the food processor bowl was functional it was 4 cups I believe and I'd like a 2-cup processor. I also need to be able to grind solids with no liquid (I mix m own spices blends) without blowing out the motor. Ideas?
