I would recommend this book to anybody who has a waffle iron: there is so much you can do with it other than making waffles! I made Vietnamese scallion waffles last weekend to go with my homemade Chinese dinner. They were good, but I want to find a savory recipe that has some crunch to it: I guess what I'm looking for is something closer to a Chinese scallion pancake. I can't find one restaurant that makes them down here. A couple of months ago, I just had to have them, and I made them, but it was an arduous process! Have you made falafel waffle yet?
