Wow, I just turned to the Q and immediately noticed that Rachel Ray is constantly interrupting the show host. How rude! Maybe she is just excited about her products, but really?

Interesting - I was thinking just the opposite. It's Rachael's product and I would love to hear her description without so many interruptions from Carolyn.

I think Rachel is rather high strung. I don't dislike her but rarerly watch her. However, I did order the TSV. I have several of her pieces and love them. Now I just have to figure out where I am going to put this when it arrives, it is ALOT of bakeware!

Rachel Ray is an extremely accomplished, successful businesswoman, chef, cookbook writer, is on many Food Network TV shows, and has her own daily talk/cooking show. And she came up the hard way -- this was not handed to her. She is a hardworking woman and has been since she was young. She also has started a line of dog and cat food, from which a portion of the proceeds go to help animals in need (see below). I think the last thing she should be called is a diva!

I thoroughly enjoy her, I think she is funny, self-deprecating, and knowledgeable -- I do not take her as being bossy or rude, and she jokes about herself, does not take herself too seriously, and SHE DESIGNED AND USES HER PRODUCTS, AND STANDS BEHIND THEM. Her background has enabled her to design products that are extremely reliable and functional. Since she's spent her life in the kitchen, I think she would be most qualified to design products that help the everyday woman.

You can go to her website (google Rachel Ray) and find out more about her and "Rachel's Rescue" organization, and the no-kill rescue groups and organizations that are helped by the proceeds from her pet foods.

Watched her show with Mary Beth - they seemed like two women who genuinely like each other and work well together. I enjoyed the show. Didn't buy because in my house with only two people we don't need a full set of Bubble and Brown or any new cookware. I wish we did. I'd get the orange!

Rachel is accustomed to running/managing her own show, and I doubt she is aware of interrupting. Actually I didn't think she was.

How can anyone equate her "interrupting" to talk about her own things, when we all know that the queen of interrupting is Susan Graver. At least Rachel wasn't constantly dancing, twirling, singing and rubbing the texture of her products constantly.

Perkup - I got the orange, and there are only two of us! I know I don't need it, but it was so pretty, I love her stuff, and for what you got I thought the price was great. I am not sure where I am going to put all of it but will find a place. I may give a few pieces individually as gifts. We will see.

I'm sure I did a very short one right after the longer one, but it's not here anymore. ?????? And it certainly was not inappropriate..... Don't know about any others - I was out for a while and just came back a while ago and saw this thread.

I enjoyed her show with Carolyn. I like her but more importantly her products are great. I think Rachael is used to running her own show. She went to the correct product where the camera was to be and Carolyn went to another product and was going to talk about that. No biggie, I like Carolyn. I just wanted to point out Rachel knows what she is doing and is prepared and organized. I think she is a perfectionist and that extends to her products.

Our local radio station just put out a challenge of no complaining for 7 days! i just signed up! Anyone else want to do it? The forum would be so quiet!

The premise is anytime you want to complain, say something positive a complimentary instead.

I will start.

Rachel Ray is a woman who knows her products and is excited about them. I enjoy listening to all her ideas. I have a few of her pans and love them!

Well I didn't watch her with Carolyn but did watch at midnight with Jane and Rachael couldn't stop interrupting Jane and then there were times when they both were talking over each other. I had to change the channel. I understand that they are her products but there's no need to constantly talk over the host. That being said, I would have liked if there were a smaller set, I would have no use for all those pieces. I was going to buy one of her large bubble and brown but when I heard her say they were very heavy, that was a no go for me. I have arthritis in my wrist and cannot use any heavy pans.

I rarely watch any of the shows when Rachel is on anymore, liked her at first(years ago) but no longer so i just don't watch..easy! I do think she is a very smart business woman & deserves all she has accomplished like many other women doing "their own thing" concerning bake ware. I have a couple of RR's oval bakers (in orange) and found out they are not to my liking. In the reviews here on the Q, finding a space big enough to store RR bake ware is a problem since they do not "stack" and big sets take up a lot of space but I am sure if you like them enough, places will be found!

I enjoy watching Rachel talk about her products. I think it's strange how some people don't think the host should be allowed to talk very much, and leave the talking to the vendor. And then there are others who think the vendor should be quiet (Susan Graver in particular) and let the host do more of the talking. So I guess it's hard to please everyone.

As for Rachel's products, I have a couple of smaller pieces of her Bubble and Brown, which I've had for a while and I love it. But I think I'm going to order some of her Cucina bakeware--I love the look of that, and I just don't have a need for the really big pieces in the TSV, although I think it's a great value. I do like the TSV, and for so many pieces, it DOES STACK IN A VERY SMALL SPACE. If you watch the current video with Carolyn and Rachel, you can see the yellow set where all 7 bakeware pieces stack inside each other. Then all you have is the two stoneware lids and the silicone trivets...so it really takes up very little space considering the huge pieces that you get. If I had large groups of people to cook for, I would definitely get it.

After watching the video of that presentation, I thought Rachel and Carolyn worked very well together, and if Rachel gets excited about her products, she has every right to because she should be extremely proud of them!

I do my treadmill while watching her show in the morning.

I love her enthusiasm and her products are wonderful.

Her recipes are different, tasty, but easy to prepare - my kind of woman!

My grandparents are from Abbruzzi and they also called a kitchen towel a "mopine." So I HAD to get hers for myself and as presents for my cousins. Ever her towels are top quality!

I got the spices in the grinders...now I use them almost every day!
