    <description>&lt;P&gt;I got rid of my counter top spice rack and want just basics now.  what 12 to 16 spices do you consider necessary?  So far I have cinnamon, ginger, dill, cumin, red pepper flakes, oregano, what else? salt and pepper don't count.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
