How did I ever live without this?

K 41221 is a must have in every kitchen! I ordered 2 of the tan ones during CIJ and gave one to our daughter. When she opened it up, she RAVED about wanting one. She watched CIJ shows but didn't order anything, however, she wanted one of these Cooking Buddy towels.

They are the bomb! I just ordered 3 more for gifts (K-41345). I urge everyone to try one.

Do you have " I can't live without" item you would like to share?

I like the plain one, in red. They look pretty handy. Do you just use it as a double pot holder ? What other uses do you use it for?

Very clever product --- saves using up a roll of paper towels and constantly reaching for a pot holder mitt.

I ordered the Cooking Buddy in the Gingerbread Man design, so I won't put it out until after Thanksgiving. After ending up with a 2nd degree burn on my forearm, while taking something out of the oven, those are the only kind of "oven mitts" I use.

Best purchase I ever made was the MCM egg cooker.

I boil a lot of eggs, and I still can hardly believe how easy

the eggs peel. They almost come off in one piece.

Would not want to be without this little gem.

I had to laugh one time when watching America's Test Kitchen & they ran a test for best potholder. Chris Kimball, like so many other chefs & cooks, just uses the kitchen towel folded over to hold hot pot handles.

My favorite, manually-operated kitchen gadget is my Genlus chopper. Now my veggie chopping is much faster, easier & neater.

I completely love this little egg cooker, too. So easy and I use it a few times a week.

This is easy - my all time fav kitchen item(s) is any or all of the Kuhn ricon kitchen shears - they have a couple of different sizes.

My first set was such THE BOOMB for me that after I tried them in the kitchen I ordered a few more prs of different sizes that I found. I use them for everything in the kitchen to cut open them horrible plastic shells that we get things like batteries in to cutting up Cornish hens/chickens, snip off the tips of wings, household things that I need a good pf of shears/scissors for to taking a pr outside to trim/prune with, cutting fresh flowers. etc. I gave a pr to my husband to use at his (landscaping) work. I have a pr at the workbench in the basement, and I HAD a pr at the workbench in the garage too but guess what - hubby loves them so much too that he stole that pr!!!

Treat yourself to a pair of these shears and see how many uses you find for them too!

I totally agree...have a pair in every room! Cutting open battery packages is no longer a difficulty and no sliced fingers!! Have also gifted several of these and everyone loves them!!

What is the MCM egg cooker? Is MCM the brand name? I even googled "MCM egg cooker" and came up with nothing. I love eggs, but haven't found an egg cooker that really works well.

I have given these for gifts and I have bought 2 sets for myself. (1 did break) I use these for all my UPS deliveries, cutting up cardboard, cutting ends of wrap from cookies, cheese, etc. Even use them for light trimming in the garden if it isn't a really thick stem. Also for flower arranging. Love them.

I have a pair of pot grippers from Kuhn Rikon. The current model on Q is K39768; they are available other places as well. I use this gadget all the time in preference to a pot holder. It's strong, easy to grip, and keeps my hands all the way off hot dishes coming out of the oven or microwave.
