New Concentric Mixing Bowls

I really wanted either the Fall or Old World brown but both sold out before I could get to them. I wonder if there will be more come into stock. Anyone text or email Tara about this issue; and if so, what did she say?

hi patticakes, I didn't watch the "on air" presentation but just watched the video with the Concentric bowls. I heard David say at the start of the presentation that what sold out would not be back before Christmas 2014 and the earliest would be sometime in 2015. Took a look at the video if you have time...That bowl set is beautiful!! I also like the Fallfetti and if I had seen that presentation, probably would have broke down & bought it on the spot! big set of bowls and all with lids!

I don't think they will be back until next fall 2015 since they are a ""seasonal"" item.

I agree if anyone is waiting for the Fallfetti pattern or the Harvest. There are still 3 colors, Black, Red & Spice and then only in OW. At the time of the on air presentation..they had the majority of OW colors and Floral Lace!! They sold out fast!!

These did go fast, but as usual, Q brings in a pitifully small quantity of something that anyone could predict will sell well. I think they do it on purpose to create a frenzy and sell an item out very quickly.

In my opinion, these will be back in the regular patterns and colors, but the seasonal ones probably won't be seen until next year in the late summer.

I'm not sure I'm a fan of this set, and I don't know why, because I love bowls. I think after all the pretty fluted bowls, these are a little bit boring to me. That said, I will probably regret not getting them.

If Temp-tations were just one set of bake ware then bringing to the Q 16,000 sets of these bowls would be small but these are just another addition if the entire collection.

On the positive note, Tara did bring so many Floral Lace colors, plus a new color & pattern, for all the TT lovers that have been asking for more FL and the OW, close to 20 different choices all together!! Smart business woman to show a limited (if you can call 16,000 sets limited) first and see how well they are sold! Watched the video again and sure wish I had seen the on-air presentation..those are the perfect set of bowls!!

With over 60 million customers (I have heard on air they sometimes use the 80 million figure), and any product choice (like harvest concentric bowls) selling out in mere minutes, then 16,000 units of something is indeed limited. Very limited. And there is no need for it to be so. These things are massed produced in China, not small artisan shops, and they do themselves a disservice by not bringing in more of the patterns they know will sell quickly. It tells me that either the buyers don't have a grasp on their market, or they are doing it intentionally to create a frenzy so that customers will impulsively purchase to avoid "missing out" on limited products.

It's tough to keep up production levels in China.

I have heard that some factories are even unionizing...so their wages will go up and their hours will go down to 10-12 hours a day vs. the current 18 hour shifts.

I just hope their pay doesn't go up too much...Tara will have to find a new country to keep production rolling and prices reasonable. I heard that Vietnam and Afghanistan are now up and coming manufacturing sites. I've seen "Made in Afghanistan" on T shirts from Walmart.

Yep, so many (thousands) of other major businesses have their products MIC that I am sure they can't keep up with demand for many products not just TT!! You are too late suggesting Vietnam as I have already seen products (not Temp-tations) here on the Q made in that country!

I'm so sorry your green baker got a crack in it. That sort of thing happens so rarely in this line, so you may want to take a look at Tara's website for proper use instructions. They may be helpful for those that don't understand how to properly use ceramic bakeware. It is amazing the people who buy this product and destroy it on purpose because of basic lack of knowledge on how to cook and clean up properly. I sure hope you get your green bowls!

Last time I looked only the OW Red, Black & Spice were available, nothing in the Floral Lace even tho there were about 18 different patterns/colors available at the start of the day when they were presented on air. So sorry, no, not available in OW green until sometime in 2015.

I'm so sorry your green baker got a crack in it. That sort of thing happens so rarely in this line, so you may want to take a look at Tara's website for proper use instructions. They may be helpful for those that don't understand how to properly use ceramic bakeware. It is amazing the people who buy this product and destroy it on purpose because of basic lack of knowledge on how to cook and clean up properly. I sure hope you get your green bowls!

Actually, it's a lot of cracks. And it happened to several other of my favorite pieces, too, and I can't bake in them any more. I really thought I was using it properly, and I'm a little taken aback by your saying I might not know the correct usage - is it that delicate? I thought stoneware was stronger than that. So, since I like the pattern, I hoped maybe I could get some bowls and they might not crack, but gkelly5744, who is apparently an expert on all things Temptations, says they won't be available until 2015. I might have to look for a different set. Shucks!!

Well, you can take it to the bank if gkelly5744 said it. That is where I learned how incompetent I was with my beloved TT's. She has really set me straight about how careless and uninformed I was in the use and care of this wonderful product. I'd trust her judgement about anything TT related. There are lots of other TT's bowls available, hopefully you will find something you like.

Please don't put words in my mouth, since this thread is supposed to be about the New Concentric Mixing Bowls from the OP, that is what was said on air about THIS set of bowls. Only takes a minute to go watch the video if you don't believe me even though I appreciate the compliment about being an expert since on another thread you berated me for not knowing about another product of Tara's and asking a simple question on where to find it, hmm, now I'm the expert...I'll take what I can get & thanks!! You could also call QVC Customer service and talk to them about your problem or go to Tara's FB page and ask there! Anyone with a knowledge of Temp-tations (and like me,you seem to know a lot about it) knows that OW green is what Tara started off with & usually that pattern is always available in different sets so it will be very easy to look for "bowls" in that pattern/color by going to the Temp-tation pages here on the Q. Hope this helps in your search for more Temp-tations in your home!! Glad to see that even tho you have had "several problems" (in your own words) with this product, you remain a loyal customer like so many do here on the Q!!!! You must not think Temp-tations is that bad after all.
