topic Grinding meat in Kitchen

So with the pink slime talk, I ordered the meat grinder for the Kitchen Aid mixer. Even with the most coarse disc the grinder gets clogged with the yucky stuff in the chuck roast I was grinding. Had to stop in mid process to clean out the system. There was quite a lot of spatter too. So I had to trim lots off the meat but the result was good meat. I would give the attachment a B- at best. Does anyone use a stand alone meat grinder?
