It is a Croatian or Serbian or Bosnian type of skinless sausage. It is made with ground beef, pork and lamb or different combinations of these. It may have salt, pepper, onions and garlic to season the meat. You mix the ingredients and make little links of sausage by hand. They are grilled and served on homemade bread. Someone invented a plastic press to make the sausages easier. Go to You Tube and type in Cevapko to see the video.

I wish they sold these presses in the US, I'd buy one.

Go to this site for more recipes:

http://easteuropeanfood.about.com/od/sausages/r/cevapcici.htm

On this same page is a link to the bread called Serbian Lepinje- Lepinje za Cevapi

I got the stuff to make the sausages and bread for dinner tomorrow night. I'm going to mix the meat and make the sausages tonight, refrigerate and cook them tomorrow.
