Anyone notice all the new Greenpans on QVC now?

I think green pan is a pretty general term for the new ceramic coatings. I went through a whole set of Todd English, gradually trashed them all. I will wait a couple years until I am assured the new coatings actually hold up.

In this case, GreenPan refers to a brand of nonstick cookware. It has Thermolon ceramic nonstick coating. This brand was formerly carried by HSN; now it's listed on QVC via online search. I don't know if it's been presented on air. It also can be found in B&M retail stores.

Greenpans come up under new arrivals to QVC. I haven't seen Todd English or the greenpans on HSN for awhile. They don't even come up on HSN when you do a search.

My DS sells a lot on eBay and makes the rounds of some of the Goodwill stores on occasion. He brought me two Greenpan frying pans that were still in the boxes - in pristine condition, and he paid $3.00 apiece for them! One is a 10" and one is an 8", and sell for $49.99 for the two on QVC.

I haven't needed to buy pots and pans for quite a while, but thought I would give these a try. I gave them a go and I'm actually impressed! They are REALLY non-stick, and they heat faster and hold heat better than anything I've had in a long time. So I told my DS to be on the lookout for any more that are in that great a condition! Why pay $50.00 when you can get it for $3.00??? One of my very favorite pots is a Farberware double boiler that I bought at a yard sale 6 or 7 years ago for $5.00.

I hope QVC brings more ceramic pans on board. I bought my first this year (not a greenpan) and LOVE it. NOTHING sticks , heats evenly and doesn't scratch easily.

Costco is now carrying them. A 12"" and 10"" are 31.99

I have the last Todd English TS set of green pans & hate them. I am not buying anymore cookware on tv. The stores have better prices & much easier to return.
