I think it's really a great addition to our home. I have been using it about 2-3 times/day for smoothies, soups, frozen desserts, and sauces. I've lost 2 lbs and never felt hungry! I didn't get it for weight loss but to eat healthier. There's a lot of info on the internet about Vitamix recipes. I have wrestled with the decision to get this for YEARS. I'm so glad I finally got one. I feel confident that it is a real quality built machine and if I have a problem, there is a incredible warranty. If anyone is thinking about getting one, all I can say is- get one, read the recipes, go to the store and buy produce, and get healthy!
