topic Microwave Safe?? in Kitchen

Tara, I was making a single serving of apple crisp in the microwave and the old world spice piece I was using split in half and the fruit was burnt. I set the microwave for 10 min but it fell apart at the 7 minute mark. I thought temp-tions was suppose to be microwave safe. Now I'm afraid to use my temp-tations in fear of it breaking in the middle of cooking. Was I wrong to use the microwave?
