I think anything really works, but I tend to think of spaghetti or capellini when I think of eggplant parm. Yum!

I usually make spaghetti or a butter/garlic fettuccini. Eggplant parm is one of my favorites.

Eating out I recently had chicken parm that had fettuccine Alfredo as a side. It was actually very good as I first kind of wondered about it. Usually with chicken parm, that I've gotten, there has just been marinara over pasta as a side dish.

Thanks everyone! I think I've settled on angel hair pasta with a garlic/olive oil sauce.

I would do something light like angel pasta with a sauce that is also on the light side. Since the eggplant dish has the cheese, I would keep the pasta light.

Yes, this is what I'm making, with angel hair pasta. When I was a kid we called them "ollie oilies'. In fact, we still do.

I would do a thin spaghetti with a light marinara...with a lot of garlic.

I see you decided on the garlic and oil.....hope it all turns out perfect.
