Like the gourmet cheese selections, but such large sizes, so typically just for parties and holidays.

How is the coconut water? Suzanne Somers talked about the health goodness of coconut and then I saw it in the sale brochure. I don't like to purchase something I am unfamilar with in case I don't like it.

I take it you are from the Chicago land area....I live in the southwest suburbs!

I'd love a review on the coconut water....I'll be going to Costco next week. Thanks!

If you have a use for canned tuna, their Kirkland brand white albacore in water is excellent. I've never had such a good quality canned tuna.

I used to love the salmon burgers, but haven't been there in so long I don't know if they still have them. They came frozen, stacked in a bag, and I would take them out and vacuum seal them in onesies and twosies so that they kept well in the freezer. I miss those.

Chicken, thank you! I make salmon salads in the summer; I can easily substitute a good quality tuna!

I don't make burgers, so I doubt I would use those.

They had fresh wild caught sockeye salmon last week. It was awesome. I buy all my meat at Costco, but generally in the fresh section. We get a lot of the vacuum sealed chicken pieces, whole chickens, brisket and pork shoulder primals. The fruit is great, naan bread, I get my unbleached all purpose flour there, vanilla extract, the chocolate covered dried mango is incredible. The coconut cashew clusters are to die for. Ziplock bags, the milk and eggs are a great price as is the heavy cream, butter, sour cream, cream cheese.

Can you tell I mostly shop at Costco? I rarely go to the regular grocery store. I basically go to the regular store for onions, cilantro, potatoes and other things I only want to buy a small amount of or that Costco doesn't carry.

They do still have the salmon burgers but I've never tried them.

I have always been pleased with the food products at Costsco. In particular, I find the quality of everything to be really good --- particularly their meats, bacon, butter, and eggs (I do a lot of baking).

I also highly recommend the Costco brand laundry detergent and their dishwasher packs. The cost and performance of both products are great!

The Kirkland canned tuna is the best I have had. Plus they don't fill the can with mostly water, like the other brands are doing now. So you get much more tuna from a can with the Kirkland brand. I also get my k-cups from Costco, the Kirkland brand. $36 for a box of 100. All of my meat is from costco. Rotisserie chicken is a must every time i shop there. Bakery items and bagels. I stopped buying fruit and vegetables there, I just couldn't eat them before they went bad, so it was wasting money for me. Love the Kirkland brand of wine.

Lynnj, I meant to give you credit for this! I saw your salmon thread and it got me thinking.

Another vote for the tuna and the rotisserie chicken! I'll pick them up tomorrow.

Costco by far has the best deals on K-Cups, but I like variety.

You're welcome. Enjoy your shopping trip tomorrow. For the most part I am a Kirkland bold gal for my k-cup, so the fact that I can get such a great deal on a box of 100 is great. On the few occasions that I want a flavor, I just add flavored creamer to my brewed cup.

I make salmon salads in the summer; I can easily substitute a good quality tuna!

I don't make burgers, so I doubt I would use those.

Glad to help! That tuna is really so great!

I don't really make hamburgers because I have a lot of trouble with bread, due to an esophagus situation. But I love those salmon burgers just to cook in the contact grill and eat with a fork. Add a veg and it's a dinner for me. What is amazing about them is that they are so flavorful I wouldn't even add a grain of salt. Just grill them and eat.

Thanks, Ennui! I'm really glad they still have them. Going to have to get the husband to get me some more of those. I really do miss having one of them from time to time.

In particular, I find the quality of everything to be really good --- particularly their meats, bacon, butter, and eggs (I do a lot of baking).

I also highly recommend the Costco brand laundry detergent and their dishwasher packs. The cost and performance of both products are great!

KY, we got our membership in April. One of our initial purchases was trash bags and Cascade brand dishwasher packs!

So far, I love their fresh chicken.

The tuna, tuna, tuna!

My very guilty pleasure is the Cheddar cheese & Horseradish spread... I force myself to bypass it!

We love the fruits & veggies. I buy a bag of spinach every month. We love it in salads and cooked. If we can't finish it, I cook what is left and freeze it. I like to put it into soups or just heat it back up.

I also buy a box of red seedless grapes and a pineapple. At home I cut up the pineapple and pull all the grapes off the stem. Rinse the grapes and put them in a L&L in the fridge with the pineapple chunks. Kept in the fridge they last a good 3 weeks for the 2 of us.

I like to get the pizzas also. We cut them in half, cover in foil & freeze. The pepperoni has so many on it that I remove half of them and they go in a L&L in my freezer to be added to other things like sandwiches and salads. My grandsons love pepperoni & cream cheese "sandwiches" for snacks.
