    <description>&lt;P&gt;I've heard that adding red wine to beef stew adds a lot of flavor.  How much wine do you add?  I've got about 2-1/2 lbs of meat.  Also, does it matter which wine you use?  I have cabernet, merlot &amp;amp; pinot noir.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
