    <description>&lt;P&gt;Is it REALLY okay to do that?  It seem like putting raw chicken tenders into the cooker and tossing the other ingredients in there would be a bacteria fest.  I've 'heard' that you need to brown the chicken before putting it in there to seal in the juices....but I honestly don't know what to do.  Since this is an easy recipe with chicken and bbq sauce, honey and wor. sauce, I suppose I could try it either way.....but I can't get over it. &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Is it okay to do that or should I pre-brown before tossing it all in?   The recipe said to just toss it in there and cook for 4-5 hrs if lower heat; 2-3 if higher heat.  Would it change the time if I pre-brown it? &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;Help!??! &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;signed:  still not a "cook"&lt;/P&gt;</description>
