I currently have a Kitchen Aid blender which is fine for my smoothies. I also have a Cuisinart food processor that I pull out when I have a lot of chopping to do. Would you consider the Vitamix a cross between a blender and food processor? </P> <P>I would also like to know how you use it and if you think it's been worth it. I would like to be able to use it to chop an onion or other veggies in a recipe without having to pull out the food processor.
