Run them through the blender (puree) with about 1/3 tomato and 2/3 roasted peppers (from the jar), some olive oil and basil - salt and pepper ... whatever else. I don't like oregano.

I use it as general purpose topping for pizza, pasta, meatballs, etc.

My favorite way to use them is with farfalle pasta and chicken. I just make a simple garlic/herb sauce and add them with some strips of grilled chicken. So easy and so good.

What do you do with sun dried tomatoes?

I also combine them with pasta, but I like them on pizza too. Sometimes I add them to veggie burgers for a bit of pizazz.

Posting from an IPad.......'Nuff said! I searched the boards thinking I would find it easier, but I will try to share anyway........so not have poster's name to credit........... "Yummy baked brie and sundried tomatoes combine for an excellent warm dip for crusty bread or crackers of your choice. Instead of a small baking dish, use a couple of ramekins for individual servings. Since the brie really bakes down, be sure and fill your ramekins or small baking dish to the top.".......................... Ingredients..........8 ounces brie cheese ( rind removed and cut into cubes).......... 8 ounces sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil, chopped.......... 2 medium garlic cloves, minced........... 1 teaspoon dried thyme ( or 3/4 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves)............ fresh cracked black pepper, to taste.......... baguettes or crackers.......... Directions...........Preheat oven to 325 degrees............ Remove rind from Brie, then cut brie into cubes............ In small bowl, combine sun dried tomatoes, garlic, thyme, fresh cracked black pepper........... In a small baking dish, layer the base with about 1/3 of the sun dried tomato mixture, then top with 1/2 of the chopped brie.............Repeat the layering until the top layer is the sun dried tomato mixture............ Allow the layering to at least reach the rim of the baking dish............. The dip will melt down considerably............ Bake in oven for about 30 minutes, or until the brie completely melts and becomes bubbly............You may need to stir the dip one time, about 15 minutes into the baking to combine the layers............. Serve warm, with bread or crackers............ Sent from my iPad

Put them on everything! I love them in salads with feta cheese, romaine lettuce, and kalamata olives. I love them on pizza with artichoke hearts, feta cheese, and chicken. They're great in pasta dishes with pesto or cream sauces.

I pretty much make it up as I go along.. but as a general rule:

Boil the farfalle.. in the meantime...

Slice into thin strips, one big or two smaller boneless chicken breasts, season to taste and brown them in a large skillet.

When the chicken is cooked through, remove it from the pan and set aside.

Sautee garlic (I use lots of it, like 4-6 cloves, crushed or chopped small), red pepper flakes, salt in the same skillet with about 1/4 cup of olive oil. This should only take a few minutes, as you don't want to burn the garlic.

Add the sun dried tomatoes and any other spices you might like. I especially like herbs de provence. If I have fresh parsley, thyme or something like that, I'll add that too.

Scoop the cooked pasta and add to the skillet along with about a 1/2 cup of the cooking water. Use more water if necessary and even add some olive oil if it doesn't look like enough.

Return the chicken to the pan and warm it all together for a few minutes.

This is a quick, go-to recipe for me, but just know that farfalle pasta takes longer to cook than some other pastas, due to its shape.

In salads, on pizza, with pasta. I make sun-dried tomato bread and rolls. I like to use them to fill chicken breasts. We always keep dried tomatoes on hand.

Sun-Dried Tomato Bread

2 tsp. dried yeast mixed with 2 Tbsp. of the water
2 tsp. sugar
7 oz. lukewarm water
12 oz. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. oil from sun-dried tomato jar
2 oz. sun-dried tomatoes, cut into ¾ inch pieces

Place the yeast in a bowl with the sugar and 2 tablespoons of the water. Mix until smooth.

Sift the flour and salt into a large bowl and make a well in the center. Add the oil to the well in the center with the sun-dried tomatoes and yeast mixture, then mix with enough water to make a soft, but not sticky dough.

Knead by hand for 10 minutes or by machine for 6 minutes until smooth and satiny. Place the dough in an oiled bowl and turn to coat in a thin film of oil. Cover with oiled plastic wrap and leave in a warm place until doubled in size.

Meanwhile preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

Knead the dough lightly and shape into a loaf. Place in an oiled 1½ pound loaf pan and cover with oiled plastic wrap.
