Happy Dance Poll - keep it or discontinue it

Vote here. Do you like it when David does the Happy Dance, or does it make you change the channel? Results tomorrow. Personally my kitchen purchases are almost non-existant because of the shenanigans on this show. I just don't watch anymore. But I will order the cookbook I found out about in The Insider.

I don't watch many kitchen shows and don't think I've ever seen the Happy Dance, so my vote would be "don't care".

It doesn't make me change the channel, but it is getting old. I usually only have it on in the back ground anyways. A grown man doing that is just crazy. I almost feel embarrassed(?) for him. Maybe they make him do it.

Keep it, Keep the show the same and Keep David just the way he is. His enthusiasm makes me laugh and I find him fun and entertaining. A Southern Gentleman we could use MORE of up North here!

Can take or leave Mary...not her personally...just don't care for the 'sidekicks' on ANY of the shows. I will not use FB and don't care about the 'social media' aspect they pushing during the shows. Glad others enjoy it though.

Although I am not a consistent watcher of the food shows, I do occasionally watch. David's happy dance is getting old and I'd rather not see it. Add to that, my dislike of his food tasting and rolling eyes schick. That's REALLY annoying!!!

Keep it. He doesn't do it every presentation; he does it when he feels like it. If he doesn't feel like it anymore; he can stop it on his own. It doesn't bother me in the least.

I'm from the south....Venable's hometown,actually. Southern men do not act like that at all as a general rule.In fact, it would be considered pretty childish and embarrassing by most for any man or woman to do that.When you add the eye rolls,yum yum faces,and using the word "foodie",it's even more off-putting. In fact there was an article in the Charlotte paper yesterday about the dislike of the term "foodie"...lol.

I rarely watch ITKWD anymore....but what I do notice....the vendors who bring the food seem so pleased when he does his H.D....for their product...some even join in with him...and for that reason I have to say keep it....if not for us...(I am not personally fond of it) but for the people who wait for David's approval of their food....

I am so glad he no longer does his yum yum face...unless he is still doing it but not when I am watching...I haven't seen it in a long time....

I'm sure many who don't come to this community with a majority of crab apple posters DO love David and his antics! That's why his show is so popular. Actually, FB and Twitter people are rapidly making community boards out-of-date and there is a small minority of QVC watchers/buyers who even know this place exists.

It doesn't really bother me all that much, but it is getting kind of stale. Maybe if he just cut it down to once a show?
