I hosted a cookie exchange yesterday---and it was a huge success. I invited 15 families from the neighborhood (wives, husbands and children) and asked each family to bring 3 dz home-baked or store-bought cookies, brownes, loaf cakes or whatever they chose. In our 40 year old subdivision there are some older and newer members -many of whom have never met before. I introduced each party goer and explained which house they lived in. We all exchanged tales about how this area came to be. Everyone said what a great idea the holiday exchange was and how we should make it an annual event! (Since I am handi-capable, I'm not able to get out much.) I would definitely do this again and would ask you if you have ever hosted or been to a cookie swap.

Re
