Hi....I bought the soda stream when it first came out thinking I would save money and not have to lug those cases of soda from the store....WRONG.....

I dislike the flavor and after injecting the soda or fizz it does not keep in the fridge long....and goes flat very quickly.....

I wish someone would have warned me ......it is now sitting in a storage closet in our basement.....we never use and a real pain in the neck....this is an expensive gimmick item..

I never replaced the gas cylinder and think it is more than half full....the empty bottles don't hold a lot of soda...not like the large plastic bottles....if I were you I would take a pass on this item, plus it takes up space on your counter.....good luck ...laibish

Do you have a soda stream and love it? Is it worth the price?

I'm a carbonation junkie and can't get enough. I have had to restrict myself to one or two diet cokes every day. The only reason I drink it is because it's carbonated. I also drink carbonated flavored water. I might drink more of it if I had the soda stream. But would I?

So, those who have one, what do you think? Do you regularly use it? Is it worth it?

Thanks.

We have a soda stream and really enjoy it, we can just flavor the carbonated water if we choose or pick a favorite flavor like coke, root beer, or lemonade. I figure I am saving probably ten dollars a week because I am not buying pop anymore. We get our syrups at Bed Bath and Beyond because the prices are great and the variety is a lot. We are very happy with our purchase. I also think it is better for you than drinking regular or diet pop.

We enjoy ours very much, use it all the time. We don't use the syrups but we mix carbonated water with whatever we are drinking such as fruit juice and kool aid and anything you can think of. We don't like really sweet drinks so this cuts the sweet and it works out just great. We also drink just the water with lemon or some kind of fruit often. It's really delicious with frozen watermelon!

We've had ours for almost a year now and like it very much. We have decreased our soda consumption considerably for several years now, and having our SodaStream makes it convenient for us when we have a taste for it. Yes, the cola does not taste exactly like Pepsi or Coke, but the cherry cola, Dr. Pete's (Dr. Pepper) and root beer are all very good. The largest bottle is a one liter size, so we purchased another one. Covers to the bottles have a silicone seal in them. so the soda keeps it's fizz longer than store bought. The flavored syrups are available at many stores. So glad that we purchased it.

love it so much i bought 2.....1 to keep at home and 1 for our beach home. i like the syrups we have tried (i am not brand loyal to any particular cola or uncola soda) and i like just using all natural flavors from fruit for a lighter drink. it is great if you serve cocktails at parties.....instant club soda OR make your own tonic.

My Soda Stream is one of my all-time favorite shopping channel purchases! I've had mine a year and a half and use it every day.

Before Soda Stream I used to limit myself to one bottle of seltzer per day. Now I can, and do, have it whenever I want. I keep the bottles full of fresh water in the refrigerator so when I'm ready to make some soda, it's already cold. That makes it so very quick to make seltzer whenever I want it!

I also drink some of the flavored sodas. My favorites are the Crystal Lite lemonade (who would have thought of carbonating lemonade?) and the Diet Cola. I was actually surprised about the diet cola, because I'm a bit picky on that, where I pretty much love all fruit sodas.

People who complain that they're not exact matches to the name brand confuse me. Have they never noticed that Coke and Pepsi taste different from each other? Or Mt Dew and Mello Yello? Or Crush orange versus Sunkist orange? Every company has their own formulas and flavors.

If you like seltzer, it is so fast and easy! Add a lemon wedge or whatever, and you're good to go.

I bought mine from QVC in June 2013. I have tried many additional flavors besides those that came with the unit. I used to drink Diet Pepsi - then switched to Diet Coke. When I tried similar flavors for the Soda Stream - I didn't care for them - regular or diet flavors.

Off all the flavors I've tried - my favorite is Root Beer. Besides that - the orange and grape flavors remind me of those drinks - years ago. I have never had a batch go flat even after 2 weeks in the fridge. The lids need to go on tightly. I have exchanged the C02 canisters several times - and I'm still not sure it is less expensive than regular canned soda pop.

But, it is easy and convenient. However, I am suspecting that so much carbonation in my system is not a good thing. Time will tell - hopefully!

We love our SodaStream. Both of us like Diet Cola, one prefers DietCoke, the other prefers PepsiOne. We both could agree on the ColaFree syrup in the black bottle. So nice to not have to carry home the soda bottles and cans, not to speak of the environmental impact of all those bottles and cans. At this point I have 4 bottles and 2 gas cartridges, so we'll never be without again. If you have a Bed & Bath in your vicinity, you might want to know, that they accept their $5 off coupon on the gas cartridge exchange. Brings it down to $10.

For as far back as I can remember, I almost always have a tall glass of seltzer with lemon or lime by my side. Nothing IMO is more refreshing. I got the SodaStream as a gift a few years ago, and I love it!

I use it every day, several times a day. It's less expensive - and easier - than buying bottles of seltzer. And better for the environment too.

I did try the sample flavors that came with it, and didn't like them at all, but they have improved since then.
I don't drink soda really so I would like one specifically for carbonated water. My boyfriend does like soda but has tasted the SodaStream dupes and was not impressed. I was considering getting it with the lemonade and Kool Aid flavors. Those I'm sure would be good.

I like the diet grapefruit, diet root beer, diet orange and diet creme soda. I can't stand the diet cola . Mine doesn't get much use any more, but it's an occasional back up in case I can't get to the store and I'm craving a soda.
