I would have purchased these but I looked online and they had 6 grams of sugar - and that was just for the standard dill pickles. I really don't like sugary pickles. If they would have been just 2 grams I may have bought. I really wish QVC would list the nutritional value on their food products.

Yikes! They introduced a new brand and I just couldn't imagine anyone paying that much for 3 jars of pickles!

I LOVE pickles and I buy a few brands here and there that are $6.99 for a big tub of them. This is pricey to me, but I (and my kids and DH) love them so I get them. But I do not think that I would pay $10+ s&H, that's where I would draw the line with my pickle consumption. A girl's gotta have some limits!

Why not make your own for about 1/3 of that?

Great project if you have kids. Plus you'll know what you're eating.

Such a great time buying locally grown produce and most will talk your ear off if you're interested in how to prepare.

Far better quality than what I can get at my local grocer and with prices going thru the roof the trip is worthwhile!

Good Lord! Cucumbers,(or other vegetables) vinegar, salt and spices. Anything else should NOT be in there!

Anyone interested in picking should check out the Ball website or Cultures for Health website.

On the other hand. . . I garden and have made a variety of pickles/relish for many years. When you consider the time involved, supplies and general mess. . .Really good pickles/relish should be relatively expensive. . .Many have ask to buy my product and I laugh and say "You couldn't afford it". . .Homemade pickles are a labor of love and make everything taste better; that comes at a price.
