I use Tervis with the lids that hold straws. I've never had one sweat and I love that they can go in the dishwasher.

Hi Ladies, About 1.5 years ago I purchased a 4-pack of water tumblers from the Q. We've used them daily since then--everyone in the family--and they are just now starting to break, fall apart, or get water in their outside layer. We drink soooo much water in our family and we all love having our own tumblers. I can no longer find the original ones, and I sorta want to try a different version anyway (my current ones are not insulated, per se, but they are double-walled.) any suggestions? Anything available here or elsewhere? TIA.

The best insulated cups ate Tervis tumblers. They come in many sizes, I love the 24 oz ones. There are two types of lids available, one has a hole for a straw, which they also sell, and the other lid has one of those slider things, so you can drink out of it or close it (I can't hink of what is is called!) They hold up very well in the dishwasher and they are guaranteed. They are made in America. The past couple of years I have given them as gifts and people love them.

I used to love Tervis tumblers...then I bought one. It sweats like crazy. It's never been in the dishwasher...treated with kid gloves...and it still sweats.

Their guarantee is great. I returned it for a new one because of that. The second is just like the first...it sweats.

So I just recognize that and use it accordingly.

I've gotten a Contigo water bottle from amazon. No straw, but no spills. Don't know if it's insulated. I haven't had anything iced in it yet, so the jury is out on whether it sweats.

I have never had a problem with the Tervis tumblers sweating, even when I use them outside in the Florida heat. That's why I like them. Other brands always got messed up in the dishwasher and I am not that into handwashing dishes.

tervis tumblers are THE BEST......i have never had a problem with them sweating, i put tumbler/top/straw in the dishwasher with no problems, there are different sizes, and there are lots of nice designs to choose from. i also have the handles, which are sold separately. i have given these as gifts themselves or used them to hold a gift card. we have a local fine jewelry store that sells these and gift wraps them for free, so i am there often.

I bought the 20 oz insulated ones here and am still using them with no problems. I bought one of those tervis handles too. I like those. Of course I have no kids to bang them around either. Probably makes a big difference.

If I'm on the go and don't want spills I use Contigo. Those keep things hot or cold the longest and are leak/spill proof.

If I'm around the house where I have a table to sit my drink on, I use Tervis. Tervis glasses/mugs are not spill or leak proof. They also don't keep drinks hot or cold as long as the Contigo. But I love my 24 oz. Tervis glasses for pop or water and I love my mugs for coffee.

Tervis products are guaranteed for life and I have used the guarantee a couple times.

I bought a Contigo mug from QVC years ago, it was a TSV - twin pack. I have used it many years, it will not leak, and keeps hot, hot and cold, cold. You can buy them at Walmart though. The TSV several years ago was a great deal, I think it was $18 for two. I think they run much higher than that now on QVC.

I bought inexpensive ones a few years ago. I think I got them at Target. They are used constantly and are holding up fine.

I bought them on a whim, and now I don't know how I lived without them. I use them at home several times a day, take them to work, etc. They're totally fine IMO, and I can't imagine expensive ones being any better.

I have 2 of the Aladdin insulated mugs. Mine are similar to K94371 as mentioned above but have plastic not metal lids. They are BPA free. I use mine every day for ice water or iced tea. They don't sweat at all because of the double-walled construction and the ice in my iced drinks lasts for many hours. It will even last over night if I don't dump out the mug before I go to sleep! I have small hands and poor grip strength. These are easier for me to grasp than the Tervis tumblers are. I like them so much I just bought some as a gift for a family member.
