We don't eat a LOT of pasta, but I like to fix it now and then. To try to eat a little healthier, I've been buying whole wheat pasta products, but I'm having a real hard time really liking the flavor and texture of the whole wheat.

I LOVE whole wheat bread, crackers, and most everything else made with whole wheat, but for some reason the pasta leaves me cold.

I think it tastes BLAH and the texture is kind of unappealing....can't even find a word to describe it....but it's not based on cooking time. I've tried undercooking and overcooking it, but it just does not appeal to me!

I've tried it hot and cold - ditto!

Is there anything I can do to deal with the flavor or texture issues I have? I'm thinking that I may just go back to the regular pasta products and find another way to eat healthy!
