Hi lacey. I know that Penzey's has a huge following, but recently when I needed fenugreek leaves, Penzey's didn't carry them - they only carried ground fenugreek. I found the leaves online at the Savory Spice Shop.

Their service was amazingly quick, & a free gift was included w/ my puny order - which exceeded the cost of the item I'd ordered. What a nice surprise! I'd definitely reorder from them.

Maybe you'd like to try them one of these days...

While I DO like Penzey's, I really also like going to a bulk store that's about 40 minutes away from me. I only really go about 2x/year, but when I do I stock up on anything I'm running low on and use my own containers.

I'm with you Sabatini!--we don't have Penzey's, but we do have a Savory Spice Shop in town--they are sensational! So helpful, informative, the quality is wonderful and the prices equal--or lower--than the supermarket options!

Wow, you're SO lucky! I'd love to have a shop like theirs close by! I had fun perusing their site. The spices they sent perfumed the kitchen when I opened them. Wonderful stuff!

Hands down, Penzeys. My uncle, a great cook, who is not longer with us introduced me to this brand. They often have great deals also.
