All Temp-tations® product lines are tested by accredited independent laboratories before they are shipped to the U.S.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Their stoneware, though, may be made in China or Thailand. I have some some LC stoneware and like them very much. Emile Henry stoneware is made in France.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I don't think this is new information. Items made in China are known for high lead count, including toys. We personally wouldn't use Temptations or any other brand made in China but that's our personal decision. I'm sure many use and enjoy them daily. Plus with the cracking reports, they don't seem safe to use just for that reason alone</description>

      <description>I would be embarrassed to serve my family, let alone guests with this 80's stoneware. It's downright dated. If they came out with more modern, or even plain designs, I would order it. The performance may be great, but the designs make it unworthy to purchase.</description>
