Soonersis,

I usually cook entire chickens in the ninja using steam baking. Generally in 50 minutes to 65 minutes for 6-8 1/2 lb chickens. As a mater of fact I just did a 5.34 lb chicken yesterday in 35 minutes. (I had removed the skin and wings from that one).

I highly recommend getting yourself a decent remote probe thermometer and inserting it through the vent hole and into the center of your meat to get the perfect temperature. They generally run less than $25.00. Certainly worth the money for all the meals they allow to be cooked to perfection.

Also great for steam baking breads.

Enjoy!

Camo

I know the guide for cooking a whole chicken in the Ninja is 1 hour 15 minutes at 375 but I want to cook (using steam roast function) 4 chicken leg quarters so wonder how long they will take. I'm thinking maybe 45 minutes but wonder if anyone has cooked them in the Ninja and can give me some advice. TIA.
