Maybe a Turkey breast with mash potatoes, and for sure some honey teriyaki salmon with steamed spinach and roasted cauliflower. And of course my stand by - endless servings of romaine with just a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of sea salt. If I switch up my salad, it’s usually escarole as the substitute. I have to share some escarole leaves with my ginger cat Toby. He loves the stuff. Go figure.

Anyway, enough food talk, I’m getting hungry!
I hope you feel better and enjoy a trouble-free week. Take Care Pooky1.

Good evening everyone. I know my post last night on this food thred I never mentioned food. I wanted to get new month started and had been a long week plus kindle or qvc sight was being difficult so I ended with put talking about food. So here's the food part. I was going to bake frozen raspberry turnovers for breakfast. Ria said I have to go pick up time cards at work so I can pick up breakfast I'm going to be out anyway so she's said back them anyway for later. I told Anna I was going to bake Italian bread for dinner for last Sunday but I remembered it on the Monday morning so I did it this morning and I told Anna better late than never. She made ravioli Alfredo, sausage and potatoes, broccoli rabe, stuffed mushrooms, and not sure what else. Anna also made turnovers and my first thought was she took my turnovers then I remembered she bought them to. We ordered Chinese food last night for dinner and we have alot of Chinese food leftover. Ria got chicken domain but she said it was to spicey. Something changed with ria. Everything is to spicy for her. Have any of you ever Hurd of this? Have a great night everyone.

I added a tiny dash of Old Bay in my salmon burgersthe other nite and and felt bad all night. Like my body. was inflamed. was very wierd sensation. Old Bay has celery salt in it and cayenne pepper. Even a tiny pinch seems to be bad for me.

We're back home. It wasn't all that late when we got back, about 8:30 or so. The cats were happy to see us.

While away at our friend's home, they served a delicious keto friendly meal for dinner Friday night - grilled chicken thighs, a beautiful salad, Brussels sprouts, and a combination of zucchini and asparagus. The chicken was so moist and flavorful. We treated ourselves to breakfast our hotel. Their eggs were probably some of the best hotel eggs we'd ever had aside from the made to order omelets we get at another place. After the celebration of life service, there were refreshments. DH and I thought that was it for the day but back at the house that evening they set out leftovers from the funeral home plus Friday night leftovers. Yesterday morning we had breakfast again and had dinner at a steakhouse yesterday afternoon. Way too much consumption for us overall.

Since we have over indulged I told DH I was having coffee this morning and fasting the rest of the day until tomorrow morning. He said he would too. He never fasts as long as I do so we'll see.
Good grief—-I just moved into a new apt and right now am living in a box -cropolis—-so cooking is a haphazard affair. WHEN I find kitchen boxes it’s like Xmas!! Found enough to cook spaghetti. Had salad and steamed vegs—-bless the micro wave and paper plates!!—-use those constantly these past days. 😳

Did a sunny side up egg with Italian bread for breakfast and egg salad for lunch. Probably do a chicken sandwich for dinner.

Hope everyone is having a good Monday.
